Native Basics - The only underwear your need in your wardrobe!

No doubt you have seen an ad for Nativ Basics floating around the internet, typically Instagram, I have found. I, like you probably are, was curious about this certified Lenzing Tencel underwear range; and rightly so, as Nativ Basics is not your typical underwear brand.

They are both an eco-friendly and ethical, with their range being crafted from renewable wood sources in order to lessen the impact on the carbon footprint. Not only are these undies better on the environment, but they feel great to wear as well. I spent a week wearing different underwear from the Nativ range, and the results were a very happy lady! I’m constantly on the hunt for underwear that doesn’t ride up too much, leave marks on my skin or is overall uncomfortable, leaving me to pull at it all day, and FINALLY, after many years of searching, I have found it!

With four different colours and three different designs, there is a pair for your every need. With Blanco (White), Beige, Blush (Pink) and black, I found that the colour range covered all of my ‘basic’ needs- staple colours to go under any outfit choice. If I had to pick a favourite, I would say Blanco and Blush would be it, though I loved every colour!

As a G-String wearer myself, I often find that typical G-Strings still ride up a bit too far for comfort from time to time, hence I was half expecting the same thing from this brand, however, was pleasantly surprised when I almost forgot I was wearing underwear because It was so comfortable! Even though G-strings are my underwear of choice, I still wanted to try out a full brief for those heavier period days. Now, I have always been a g-string wearer due to the fact that a full brief gives a wedgie anyway, so you may as well wear a g-string with less material since it has the same effect, and therefore is more comfortable (I have had this conversation with many of my friends, who all agree!)… who can relate?

Thus, I have the full brief a try, and for the first time in my brief wearing history, I did not get a wedgie!

Lastly, Nativ has a ‘Period and Leakproof’ underwear set! Though I did not try this pair out, I have heard great reviews about it, and it is always sold out (that speaks for itself). If you are intrigued by this concept, do some research. And if you’re daring enough to give them a go, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Nativ Basics price point ranges from $19 to about $34, and for one pair of underwear, you may be a bit hesitant, though, take my review for what it is, an honest one. This underwear is the only underwear you need to wear! I rate it better than Bonds, or Calvin Klein if you are looking for a range, (Those two brands have always been my tried and true).
