Susukoshi Brand Review

When you find out you are pregnant, there are a lot of different emotions, thoughts, and decisions that go through your mind. Picking your Childs ‘style’ of clothing is a big one, at least it was for me. After spending hours upon weeks searching for the perfect outfits for bub that would hold great quality, fit the budget and reflect my desired style (bonus if it ships to Australia), I stumbled across Susukoshi on Instagram. Not only did their beautiful range of styles catch my eye immediately and warrant me to add almost everything from their website into my baby registry, but the large range of colours, variety of items and Japanese inspired style, had me at first glance. For someone that is a sucker for neutral colours, their wide range of neutral shades had me in a frenzy. If you are a lover of neutrals too, this store will be your aesthetic dream. Another selling point for me was the range in sizes, with most items going up to a size 5, so that you can dress your child in these beautiful items for years to come.

I decided to go with a bib, swaddle and Kimono Bodysuit, all of the same colour -Jet, which is a gorgeous dark midnight green, as-well as a pair of drop crotch pants in the colour jailbird -a black and white stripe. Upon the quick arrival of my pieces, I was beyond impressed with the overall quality and density of the fabrics. It was a consistent fabric throughout all of the pieces, being soft and thick to the touch. My favourite features of the products I received are as follows..

Kimono Bodysuit in colour Jet

  • Beautiful rich colour, true to the shade on the website.

  • Conveniently placed snap fasteners that allow you to undo the bodysuit from one side to the other, as well as the crotch, allowing for easy changing and dressing of baby. A great alternative to a button that could fall off and become a choking hazard or Velcro which would wear over time and become less adhesive.

  • Fold-over hands, to act as mittens (a great feature as babies tend to scratch themselves).

  • Thick material, and cute accent of nicely placed tag with Susukoshi brand.

  • Dressy in appearance for any occasion.

Baby Bib in colour Jet

  • Beautiful rich colour, true to the shade on the website.

  • Conveniently placed snap fastener behind the neck for easy application, and a great alternative to a button which could fall off and become a choking hazard or Velcro which would wear over time and become less adhesive.

  • Double-lined material in bandana shape for durability, quality and aesthetic.

Swaddle Blanket in colour Jet

  • Beautiful rich colour, true to the shade on the website.

  • Large, thick and stretchy. Being 120x120cm in size, the Swaddle Blanket allows lots of room to wrap baby or use as a pram/ car seat cover, or blanket. The thickness makes it the perfect swaddle or blanket for winter, allowing for warmth for your baby and stretch to allow them to move while still staying snug.

  • The movability of the product, being made from Cotton Elastane, allows for ease when wrapping, apposed to other plain cotton fabrics that are more firm.

Baby Jogger in colour Jailbird

  • The stretch and drop crotch of the pants allow for comfort for bub no matter how they move or twist in sleep or otherwise.

  • Elastic waistband and drawstring make for comfort and longer wear time as baby grows, allowing for a looser or tighter fit.

  • The cute design and colour allow for mixing and matching with different outfit items, as well as giving a dressy look for any occasion.

Overall a great range, in which I will be purchasing more colours of everything! Passes the durability test, quality test, and looks test. You can check out the gorgeous Susukoshi range here https://susukoshi.com/
