Want to know the best locations to travel?

Flåm, Aurland (Norway)

Flåm is a small village in Norway and is one the most aesthetically pleasing locations I’ve ever seen (only through photos unfortunately). Mountains and waterfalls surround this Aurland bank; which you can observe via a train ride that travels throughout the magnificent scenery. What’s interesting is that despite the changes in season, it remains a beautiful place to visit all year round. So for instance, in summer you’ll see nothing but green and blue. Whereas in winter the mountains will don a white coat that reflects off the water. The number of tourists who visit the area has significantly increased in the last 20 years. After recently discovering this incredible location myself, it just made the list.

Golden Bay, New Zealand

Golden Bay in New Zealand’s southern island is exactly as it sounds; it’s quite simply a golden bay! The gold of course is referring to the trail of sand that projects itself around the upper bay. It is a protected area to the surrounding wildlife, so a tour is necessary for one to visit. Before you even get to the bay, you will traverse the marble mountain of Takaka Hill. You will pass the Waikoropupū Springs which is by far, the clearest waters you have ever seen. This is even more reason for Golden Bay to be on your list on travels because it is an adventure in itself when exploring the sites.

Banff, Alberta (Canada)

Another great location surrounded by mountains, Banff in Alberta, preserves a really beautiful part of Canada that needs to be explored. While it could be considered a cliché tourist spot, this shouldn’t deter one to be taken in by it. It is also close to Lake Louise, a bright turquoise body of water that is simply alluring. There are hot springs, hiking paths, historic sites and in winter; you can put on your skis, grab your snowboard or simply ice skate. Be aware of which season you’re going into,

because you don’t want to bring your shorts in winter; it can get pretty chilly.

Lake Lugano, Switzerland

The sight of Lake Lugano in Switzerland is unbelievably calming. The activities on this lake and it’s surrounding mountains are endless. It is found in the southern region of Switzerland and not too far from northern Italy. Its climate has a Mediterranean flavour to it; so, there’s no real issues when you should choose to visit. Throughout the entire year, tourism does not really relent as a result of this.
