I have been wanting to try a diffuser for a really long time, but couldn’t find one that was small enough/ portable enough to take with me from room to room. When I received the Doterra diffuser and essential oils, It changed the way I do my day. Each morning I turn on my diffuser with one of my favourite flavours to start my day. At night, I pop in a soothing scent and turn it on for 4 hours. I love that it turns off itself! I never thought diffusers would be so easy to use and mess free, never-mind the gorgeous design on the diffuser itself.
I have many favourites out of the scents I recieved, so i’m going to give you a short description of them all.
Pepperment
My favourite of all is by far the Peppermint. There is something about this scent that just makes my sinuses feel clear and helps me breath easier. And it smells incredible which is a plus. I sometimes mix the peppermint with Citrus Bliss or wild orange for a sweet scent to help me sleep. I tried mixing the peppermint with lemon while I was sick recently and this helped clear my sinuses really well.
Wild Orange
This scent is a perfect blend of sweet and citrus. I love mixing this scent with almost any of them. When i’m working on my magazine, this helps get those creative juices flowing.
Citrus Bliss
This scent smells as though it has combined orange, lemon and possibly lime? I LOVE this scent for anytime; morning or night! This scent is both soothing and refreshing. Who needs a bouquet of flowers.. Just fire this baby up!
Lemon
A perfectly versatile scent. Lemon, like I said earlier, can be used for sickness, to help clear a blocked nose or sooth a headache. While light on its own, it can become stronger when mixed with other scents; The strength is entirely dependant on how you choose to use it.
Lavender oil
Quite possibly the most versatile of the essential oil realm. I diffused 3 x drops of this oil in my diffuser and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the scent and the ambiance it created. I found this lavender oil to have more longevity over the usual oil that I use.
Clarycalm
An oil blend for women during shark week. I applied to my wrists, temples, and nape of my neck and felt it’s impact almost instantly. It’s very calming and grounding, and comes in a rollerball form for easy transportation in your handbag!
